Dr. Mitch Peritz is a youth advocate, program developer, and founder of Youth Rising-Up Initiative, empowering adolescents to develop the skills, awareness, and resilience to avoid exploitation, including human trafficking. Honored with the Mayor’s Certificate of Recognition in New York City for his work with youth, he earned his Master of Social Work from Colorado State University, where he created an innovative prevention program using experiential learning and the creative arts. With over 40 years in the healing arts, Dr. Peritz helps youth build confidence, leadership, and self-worth, and partners with organizations supporting youth well-being.
