At just 28, Richard J. Bryan took the reins of his family’s 100 year old, $120 million automotive dealership. As he moved into the role of CEO he soon discovered the business was losing over $3 million a year, bankruptcy was only months away, and there was no plan in place.
Richard knew he needed help; he found Frank, a seasoned executive and business turnaround specialist who helped Richard get the business back on the road to success. Richard clearly defined his role as a leader, hired a team of trusted A-Players and learned the vital art of succession planning. He later sold the business and started BBH Properties, a real estate development company based in the UK. Today, Richard speaks with current and next gen leaders, helping them to implement the succession planning and leadership strategies that have proven to be the driving force behind Richard’s continued business success.
Richard lives in Evergreen, Colorado with his wife and teenage daughter (his son has already flown the nest and is at university in California!). A former rugby player, Richard keeps fit skiing and golfing with family and friends.
